Sustainibly Harvested,
Expertly Crafted

Mission

Provide the New England area with locally foraged, sustainably harvested acorn flour as a highly nutritious, gluten-free food choice to those seeking a new palate of opportunities. We educate the public on this abundant resource, once an ancient staple among Native Americans in North America. By leaving the forest alone for the wildlife, we minimize potential environmental impact. We harvest our acorns from urban and suburban locations, leaving the landscape cleaner while utilizing a resource many consider an aggravation.

Services

Education and Outreach:
Are you a school, food organization or band of foragers?
Teaching you the benefits and steps to harvesting and processing your own acorn flour and the wonderful additions they can make to your daily recipes. Our class provides a small sample of the acorn flour, baked goods and and educational demonstration on how to properly harvest and process this bountiful resource.

Collection:
Do your acorns litter your lawn yearly, only to be a tripping hazard or aggravation to the lawnmower. For no charge, we will come to collect your good acorns. For a small fee, we will collect the good acorns and rake the rest of them up to drag into the woods or put into bags for removal by the trash collectors.
